4. Choose those all-important details that really make your space from our range of appliances, worktops, handles, office desks and more.

Preparing for your appointment

Our Designers are fully qualified and will work with you to come up with a style and design that best suits your needs. There are a few things you can do to insure your dream kitchen, bedroom, bathroom or office become a reality.

  • Make a list of ideas you have, for example the colour and styles you like.
  • Collect some magazine or internet pictures that depict what you have in mind.
  • Consider the Appliances you wish to accommodate, eg American fridge freezer, range cooker, eyelevel oven, furniture and bedding for your bedroom etc.
  • Do you want a breakfast bar or island?  How many people do you wish to seat here?
  • Please bring measurements of the whole room as we do 3D colour drawings
  • Mark electrical and plumbing points when taking measurements of your room. (See our guide to measuring a room for some helpful tips.)
  • Please allow 1-1 ½ hours for a kitchen design. Allow 30-45min for a wardrobe design

Points to consider when choosing a Fitted Furniture Supplier

  • How long are the furniture suppliers you are considering in business?
  • Do they have an established showroom where you can view their products?
  • Will your fitted furniture be manufactured in Ireland?
  • Are the company you are considering registered? This is important if you wish to avail of the Home Renovation Scheme (HRI)?
  • Will your furniture be fitted by fully qualified and experienced Cabinet makers/ Carpenters?
  • Are fitting charges, delivery charges* and disposal charges included in your price unless otherwise requested?
  • Are soft close hinges standard on your new furniture? These are no longer an extra and should come as standard. Make sure that soft close hinges and soft closing drawers are included in the price.
  • Are door handles included in the price?
  • Will your cabinets be made from board produced by premium European suppliers such as Egger. Will your cabinets be made from 18mm thick board?
